The Fashion Ecologies project explores a new fashion culture grounded in localism. It sees how we dress as part of an integrated whole of real-world relationships and interactions between land and community shaped by stewardship of nature, affection for place, diversity, social responsibility and fewer goods.
Its findings are now available on the Fashion Ecologies website and are characteristic of a new wave of fashion-sustainability work seeking to get ever closer to reality of the world and lived experience. I look forward to hearing what you think.
