Released in September 2019, Design and Nature: A Partnership is an edited book, comprising 25 short and wide-ranging chapters. Edited by myself together with Louise St Pierre from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Canada and Mathilda Tham of Linnaeus University, Sweden; the process has taken more than four years. In this time we learnt a huge amount, about each other, about what work in this space means and about how design can adapt to a new role shaped by care for the world in which we live. We have written a paper about the process of writing the book, downloadable as a pdf here: LeNSin_Design and nature.
The book is on sale in all the usual places or direct from the publisher. It is, for me, a companion to my other 2019 book, Wild Dress, that was published earlier this year.
